Henry is originally from Rochester in Kent and moved to Swansea to complete his 4 year Masters in Osteopathy.
Henry’s main interests are in sports injuries and he is currently the Osteopath and Pitch-side for Llanelli Town Football club and was previously in the same role at Swansea City Ladies.
Henry has experience of working within an NHS environment working alongside a multi-disciplinary team of GPs, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Physical Therapists, Nutritionists and Neurologists to effectively manage patients in both acute and chronic pain.
Henry is a passionate and empathetic practitioner who uses his knowledge and assessment skills to best interpret and explain what he clinically believes is the cause of your pain, how it is best managed and how to help prevent re-injury.
Henry has also completed courses in Medical Acupuncture, Sports Trauma Management and Spinal Care.
Another Swansea University graduate, Sara is originally from Italy but studied in the UK.
During her degree she treated a wide variety of musculoskeletal complaints, from acute to chronic, and had the opportunity of working in both a private and a NHS clinics. This exposed Sara to a diverse mix of patients including high performing athletes, pregnant women, teenagers and pensioners.
Sara received a First in her dissertation on how osteopathy may be effective in the prevention of hamstring injuries in dancers. From a very young age, she trained in ballet and contemporary dance and this interest led her to study osteopathy, as she had a good understanding of body movements through her training.
In the evening Sara teaches a Pilates-based exercise class in Swansea. Her experience in dance and Pilates combined with her osteopathy training provide her with an excellent understanding of how simple exercises can be very effective in injury prevention and pain management.
Another interest of Sara’s is horse-riding and the care of horses. She is currently studying Equine Osteopathy, to further her knowledge of osteopathy and how it can be applied to animals.
