About your therapists
Jordan Smart graduated from Cardiff Metropolitan University with a BSc in Sports Conditioning, Rehabilitation and Massage and is currently studying to become a Physiotherapist. She has experience working with a wide range of individuals, all with different needs and abilities. Due to her heavy sporting background, she enjoys working with athletes who are either returning to sport from injury or in the prevention of injuries. Jordan works in our Sketty clinic.
Steffan Howells works in our Cross Hands clinic. A change of career and many injuries through sport has brought Steffan into Sports Massage and alongside working at Align, he also works as part of he medical team for Cwmamman United football club.

What is Sports Massage & Injury Rehabilitation?
The aim of a rehabilitation program is to regain pre-injury levels in all aspects of physical fitness. A full rehabilitation and strengthening program is essential to ensure full recovery and in order to prevent re-injuries.
Rehabilitation programs should aim to restore muscle strength, endurance and power, improve flexibility, proprioception and balance as well as more sports specific or functional exercises.
